THE ADAMS FAMILY VALUES

We made lots of sweaters for this movie.  There was a very large one for Lurch.  "Make us a Missoni," the costume designer said.  Using a combination of thin variegated cotton yarns knitted in a uneven stripe pattern it came out pretty well. There was also a big yellow sweater for him.  He was very very tall with really long arms.

But, my favorite from that movie was the little baby sweater with the spider on the front.  It was made of a soft Marino grey wool and I embroidered a spider and it's web on top of the knitting in black.  That way there was more definition that if it had been knitted into the garment.  It was fun seeing it on the poster and in the movie.  I think it's even on the cover of the DVD.

THE CONEHEADS

Another baby project.  They called me at the last minute to say they needed some pink baby hats for the baby Conehead, and they needed them fast.

No problem.  The next day they had 3 little pink hats with points on the top for the cones.  They got just what they wanted and got it when they wanted it.
